My name is Suzanne Levinson. The organization I run is called Happy Cups, Juice for the People 🍉🍐🍍 . My day job is a small business owner who, through Covid, had to think outside of the box. I launched a healthy choice of 100% fresh fruit drinks made on the spot to serve at my restaurant. I was so sad to think not everyone has the opportunity to purchase or have access to 100% freshly juiced fruit juice !! From there I decided everyone should have the opportunity to have the healthiest drink choices, so I launched Happy Cups from my home kitchen (not a part of my small biz, just a personal endeavor I am passionate about) . I commit many hours a week in volunteer work for food insecurity organizations, so I am passionate about feeding the homeless and needy. Serving the underserved healthy choices in the juices is a remarkable blessing to be able to do. I source the produce myself. I juice the fruits at home in my juicer, bottle, label, chill the drinks in my freezer and then let thaw a bit in my fridge so they are icy cold. Then after the juices are nice and cold; I pound the pavement, handing out the bottled juices of 100% fresh fruit to the needy population. I have also juiced on the spot serving fresh fruit juice during meal time at soup kitchens. As well, I add the bottled and labeled juices to community fridges! The feedback from the people consuming the ice cold refreshing healthy juice is remarkable with each drink that is handed out. I am passionately committed to this cause.
